Julia is an aspiring actress who lives independently and works part time. Julia is a role model for many young adults with Down syndrome and takes every opportunity she can to support other people with disability achieve a good life.
Having recently completed a WAAPA course, Julia is looking forward to adding to her acting resume which already includes working in Sydney and Ireland.
Julia’s family have supported Julia to take on the goals she pursues through her life.
Having been a candidate in 2013 State, Federal and Council elections as well as the 2014 WA Senate By-Election, Jordon is the second youngest parliamentary candidate in the State’s history. A passionate disability and youth advocate, Jordon’s family did not let Cerebral Palsy define who he was or what he could do.
Jordon will share with you how being a home educated student and growing up in a multi-generational home taught him a love of history and politics as well as the value of all generations.
